There is a new movie called American Teen that is set to hit theaters July 25th.  It is a movie about five different students from five different social/economic backgrounds.

• The Heartthrob
• The Geek
• The Jock
• The Rebel
• The Princes

Their question is, “do you remember which one you were?”  Or I would ask, do you want to remember?  This is an insightful view into five seventeen year olds senior year and the pressures they face.  I am not saying this is a good movie to go see with your teens because I have only seen the trailer, but it may be a good date movie for parents to see on screen some of the struggles that your teenager faces, and lets be honest doesn’t talk about with you.  Check out the trailer here: http://www.americanteenthemovie.com
